E’ sopravvissuto, insieme al fratello Fritz, alla misteriosa uccisione dei genitori presso il loro palazzo di Norimberga, nel 2005. Il suo temperamento impulsivo e ribelle mal si adatta alla disciplina piuttosto rigida che regola la sua stirpe. L’indole generosa e poco incline alla meditazione lo rende capace di mosse imprevedibili, destinate a turbare le regole e le gerarchie tradizionali. Più debole e sensibile del fratello, Hans ha reagito in maniera del tutto diversa alla tragedia familiare.
La sua sete di vendetta non è tanto indirizzata contro gli esecutori e i mandanti della strage, ma verso l’intrico di guerre, alleanze, vendette e sospetti che da troppo tempo esaurisce risorse e intelligenze di tutte le stirpi.
He survived, together with his brother, Fritz, to the mysterious murder of his parents at their palace in Nuremberg, in 2005. His impulsive and rebellious character badly suits the severe discipline of his birth-sign. His generous temperament shows little talent for meditation, making his moves unpredictable, inclined to break rules and heedless of traditional hierarchies. Weaker and more sensible than his brother, Hans reacted to the family tragedy in a completely different way. His thirst for vengeance is addressed, more than to the material executors and the instigators of the slaughter, to the tangle of wars, alliances, revenges and suspects that has been draining the birth-signs’ material and human resources for too long.
