La stirpe Lichtenborn ha il suo centro operativo a Norimberga e influenza i paesi di lingua tedesca, l’Olanda e parte dell’Inghilterra.
La stirpe è strutturata gerarchicamente intorno alla figura del patriarca, Joseph Lichtenborn. Nel XV secolo egli ha fondato la stirpe e da sempre ne è alla guida. Si dice infatti che il potere della Luce l’abbia reso immortale. Accanto al patriarca, che ha principalmente il compito di guida spirituale della stirpe, sono stabiliti due reggenti che sovrintendono alle scelte politiche ed economiche e che designano direttamente i loro successori, spesso per via ereditaria.
Nel 2005 i due reggenti, i coniugi Reiner e Claudia Lichtenborn, sono stati barbaramente uccisi in circostanze misteriose, e in tale occasione Joseph è scomparso. I due attuali reggenti sono Fritz Lichtenborn, erede designato, ed Evie Gloeckner, sua promessa sposa.
L’altro erede designato, Hans Lichtenborn, gemello di Fritz, ha invece rinunciato all’incarico.

Lichtenborn birth-sign has its operation centre in Nurnberg and its sphere of influence includes all German-speaking countries, the Netherlands and part of England.
The birth-sign’s hierarchy has its topmost figure in Patriarch Joseph Lichtenborn. He was the founder of the birth sign and has been its leader since the 15th century. It is common belief that the Power of Light has granted him eternal life. Next to the Patriarch, who acts primarily as spiritual leader of the birth-sign, rule two Regentsand who are responsible for the political and economical welfare of the birth-sign. Their office is often hereditary.
In 2005 the former Regents, Reiner and Claudia Lichtenborn, have been killed under mysterious circumstances and Joseph has disappeared. The actual Regents are now Fritz Lichtenborn, appointed heir to the office, and his fiancee Evie Gloeckner.
The other appointed heir, Hans Lichtenborn, Fritz’s twin, has instead renounced all claims.
